About Alainnah
Well hello! I am so glad you are here.
I’m Alainnah (she/her), a somatic therapist, yoga teacher, and most importantly, a human who has been through her own journey. Growing up, I was the emotional sponge for my family, soaking up the tension and trying to manage everyone else’s feelings while struggling to make sense of my own. This left me internalizing worry and self-doubt, constantly feeling on edge, and striving for perfection. For a long time, I believed that if I could figure out why I felt the way I did, I’d finally find relief.
But along the way, I discovered a deeper truth: healing doesn’t just happen through understanding—healing happens through fully embodying experiences. It wasn’t until someone helped me realize that my nervous system was still stuck in survival mode from earlier experiences that everything began to make sense. That insight sparked a transformative journey where I learned that true healing requires a connection between the mind, body, and soul. Through somatic therapy, I began reconnecting with my emotions, tuning into my body’s wisdom, and finding the power to be present with myself without judgment.
This journey ignited my passion for helping others find their transformative journey. I work with individuals navigating challenges such as worry, self-doubt, low motivation, life transitions, and the lasting impact of unresolved trauma. My approach is integrative, combining Parts Work, Somatic Therapy, and Mindfulness practices to empower you to release patterns that feel restricting and reconnect with your authentic self.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and encouragement, I’d love to connect. Let’s work together to help you feel more grounded, confident, and aligned with your true self.
